I didn’t own a pair of boots, I am allergic to hay, and I literally thought my house was going to be crawling with MICE. Why are we afraid of things we don’t know?
Now, I will admit my house is dirty, that part is 100% true, living in the country, there is DIRT… but mice… it’s not as big of a problem as I made it out to be.
I now see, life before the farm and life after the farm… I know the hard work, the dedication, the purpose, the passion I have is much stronger now because of how we live.
Living on a farm and caring for animals gives me a feeling of hope and purpose. We plant trees because we are planning for a future, we care for animals because we have a purpose to give them the best life they can have. We share our journey because, it is okay to change and grow as new opportunities arise.
I promise you, it will be miserable some days…other days, it is magic. Pure magic.
Live for those days, I know it will work out in the end.
